Front-End Developer

We are looking for a passionate web developer to help us create and run web scale services. The tools and the available technologies change often and we're dedicated to keeping up with them to better serve the hundred of thousands users that visit our sites every day.

Key Responsibilities

• write front-end code and functionality & integrate that into new or existing PHP applications
• implement and test the developed code into the live website
• troubleshoot & fix existing front-end related bugs
• analyze & optimize the front-end site performance
• understand the bigger picture of your work; it is more than just converting PSDs to HTML

Required Skills / Attributes

• good with JavaScript - both plain and jQuery
• can completely convert a PSD design into a cross browser compatible web page
• knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 as well as coding best practices
• accustomed with using source versioning systems such as GIT
• enjoys working in a team
• excellent verbal & written communication skills - both in Romanian & English
• has a passion for experiencing new technologies and understand when those are suitable and when not
• a portfolio of online websites (completely coded by you, no team work)
• excellent team player and interpersonal skills as well as adaptability/flexibility

Education and Experience

• at least 3 years work experience as a web or front-end developer
• very well experienced with different browser quirks and cross browser compatibility
• an eye for UX / design is preferred
